Deleting your data
Last updated · 28 September 2026
This page explains how to have your MorePanache account and all associated data deleted, including data obtained through your Facebook and Instagram connection.
01How to request deletion
From within the app: open the My account page, "My personal data" card, and click "Request deletion of my account". An acknowledgement is sent straight away to your account's email address, and you can cancel the request as long as it has not been processed.
By email, if you no longer have access to the app:
write to hey@morepanache.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my data".
Writing from the account's own address lets us verify your identity without asking for supporting documents. If that is not possible, say so: we will agree on another means of verification, as a deletion cannot be carried out on an anonymous request alone.
You may also write to us by post: MOREpanache, Prins Hendrikkade 21e, 1012 TL Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Whichever route you choose, we process the request within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.
Are you your agency's social media lead? Deleting your account also disconnects the Facebook and Instagram accounts you had linked: your colleagues will not be able to publish until another lead reconnects them. Let your agency know beforehand.
02What is deleted
| Data | Treatment |
|---|---|
| Account and personal information | Deleted |
| Drafts, text and visuals | Deleted |
| Scheduled posts not yet sent | Cancelled, then deleted |
| Facebook and Instagram access tokens | Permanently deleted |
| Temporary copies of visuals | Deleted |
| Activity logs | Anonymised: the action is kept, its author is not |
| Invoicing records | Kept for 10 years, accounting obligation |
03The authorisation in your Facebook settings
Deletion erases all the access we hold: the app can no longer publish or read anything on your accounts.
However, the authorisation you granted us remains visible in your Facebook settings. We cannot remove it on your behalf: Facebook reserves that action for the account holder. To do so:
04What is not deleted, and why
Posts already published on Facebook or Instagram belong to your agency's accounts and stay online. We have no control over them once sent: to take them down, delete them directly from the page concerned, or from Meta Business Suite.
Content created by other members of your agency also stays in place: it belongs to the agency, not to your personal account.
05Withdrawing access without deleting your account
You can withdraw the authorisation without closing your account, from your Facebook settings, under Business integrations. Automated publishing stops immediately, and your content remains available in the app.
You can also disconnect the accounts from within the app itself, which deletes our access without touching your Facebook settings.
